How to avoid dengue mosquitoes from my home

Dengue fever is a viral disease caused by four different types of viruses. There is no vaccine against this virus. Dengue fever is transmitted through mosquito bites. Mosquitoes carry the virus from person to person.
The symptoms of dengue fever usually begin 2 to 7 days after being bitten by an infected mosquito. Symptoms may include sudden onset of fever, severe headache, muscle pain, joint pain, nausea, vomiting, rash, and eye pain. Severe cases may result in internal bleeding, shock, organ failure, and death.
There are two forms of dengue fever: dengue fever without warning signs and dengue hemorrhagic fever.
Dengue fever without warning sign: This form of dengue fever occurs when the patient does not show any symptoms of illness. However, the patient should seek medical attention immediately if they develop any of the following symptoms:
• Abdominal pain
• Headache
• Joint pain
• Nausea

Common method to control Mosquitoes

1. Mosquito Netting
Mosquitoes are responsible for transmitting many diseases including malaria, yellow fever, West Nile virus, Zika virus, Dengue Fever, Chikungunya, Japanese encephalitis, and others. They carry disease-causing pathogens from person to person through bites. Mosquitoes are attracted to lights at night and they bite humans and animals. This is where mosquito netting comes into play.
2. Mosquito Repellent
Repelling mosquitoes is easier said than done. There are many different types of repellents but none of them work 100%. So what works best? DEET! This is the most effective repellent available today. It is safe for children and pets. It is the only repellent that kills mosquitoes on contact.
3. Mosquito Traps
The traps are placed near water sources and they trap mosquitoes. When the traps are full, they are taken to a laboratory where the mosquitoes are identified and counted.
4. Mosquito Nets
Mosquito nets are used to protect people from being bitten by mosquitoes. They are usually hung above beds or windows.

Mosquito Control Services

Mosquitoes are among the most common pests in homes and businesses. They carry diseases that can cause serious health problems. Pest control services offer effective solutions to eliminate mosquitoes from your home or office.
1. Dengue Mosquitoes
Dengue fever is caused by a virus transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. This mosquito species is commonly found in tropical regions around the world. Dengue fever causes flu-like symptoms including headache, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, and rash. There is no vaccine against the disease.
2. Preventing Dengue Fever
Preventing dengue fever requires eliminating breeding grounds for the Aedes Aegyptus mosquito. Eliminating mosquito breeding areas involves removing water containers where mosquitoes lay their eggs. Cleaning up standing water at least once per week helps prevent mosquito larvae from developing into adult mosquitoes.
3. Professional Pest Control Services
Professional pest control services are often recommended for commercial properties. Commercial pest control services typically involve using pesticides to kill adult insects and larva. However, this method may pose risks to humans and pets.
